Making all rares available since the game is almost dead ?

So we should try to get some more players playing this game.
I think that the best way to do this would be by making some rare and expensive items available on shops like Pachuas but all over the maps of this game.
What do you guys think about this ?

Making every item common removes any value from collecting items in the first place. Ruining this part of the game won't encourage any new players to start playing, it will just encourage existing ones to get tired faster and leave.

i have made all rares available at events, i don't give 100 away, just 1 or 2 random
ones at a a time.

I for one don't believe the game is dead, it is in a down period, but i don't believe its dead.

I agree with Prsm. He's releasing rares in a controlled way that works well enough for this down period. I encourage anyone looking to get their hands on some shiny rare hats to participate in the advertised GM and guild events.

I never get to attend those cool events is there a better way to announce them ?
like some kind of a flashy text on the online players list or a telegram bot ?

I also think some other ways to announce events and other important news can benefit this game. Maybe we can compile a e-mail list and send out e-mails when something important is going to happen. Maybe ask the interested players for their e-mail via a global announcement in game?

Yeah but giving random players gm powers makes them common too

So why not just make them very expensive to get they wont be very common and trust me
there will be lots of players grinding for money to buy them.

One of the biggest reasons that made many players stop playing was those quests where we used to get rare hats, on christmas on easter and halloween those were some great days.
