Very nice! Listening to Bob Dylan recently? I like it a lot, but you need a new theme

Re: SDL2.0 test version, call for beta testers!
Thx melkior,
I can't upgrade to 10.9 right now and will at least wait till .2/.3, but I will definitely keep an eye out for it when I do update. I hope you can stand the nuisance until we fix it! :)
edit: could you attach a screenshot for the record? That will make things much easier for us. Thx ...

If you need it, I have a script to automatically conform audio to different formats. I wouldn't mind sharing it

Re: Sound Quality
There is nothing to correct.
48 KHz is better, when things have been recorded, processed and down-mixed in that format. The question was about up-sampling from 44.1 to 48, which you wont hear the difference (and neither will I) and relies on an algorithm to "fill in the blanks". Or to be more ...

Re: Sound Quality
Just to make things clear,
Up-sampling a 44.1 KHz file to 48 KHz will not improve the sound quality. It can not , because the information isn't there in the first place. Even worst, some audio engineers, such as myself , will argue that it will degrade audio quality. The reason is simple, you need ...

Re: New sounds for blub and piousslayer
The piou sound are only miss. The hit is played from the enemy (ex: the blub sounds).
Yes there isn't every sound, but it's a start.

Re: Sound Quality
lol! You think upsampling a sound file that is 44.1 to 48 khz will improve quality? Your funny.
BTW, 44.1 == music, 48 == video and broadcasting. Every single sound card out there supports 44.1, so if you hear pops and crackles, then the problem is elsewhere.

SDL2.0 test version, call for beta testers!
Hello everyone,
as some of you might or might not know, manaplus is in the process of moving to SDL2.0. I will continue to build the normal OSX version with SDL1.2 until we are sure that the new libraries work well. To make sure everything runs smooth for non-developer users, I would like to seed ...
